Beyond expectations
Popped back to Clapham this weekend to pick up some meat for a BBQ we were having.
Got there at 5 as they were closing and it was still utterly packed . .
It ain't cheap, but the quality is brilliant.... 1.5kg of boned and diced lamb plus 5 large venison sausages came in at a steep £34!! - but they were wonderful and served 7 people easily.
The homemade pork pies looked great but I managed to resist
Meat as it should be

This butchers used to be in a shop 20yds up the road and was a run of the mill butchers. You can still see the old shop. Now it is one of the best butchers in London.
The sausages are gold medal winners and the selection of meats are out of the world. No matter what you ask for they’ll either have it or will order it for you.
My only word of warning is never go in hungry and make sure you take a credit card. It isn’t the cheapest but then again supermarkets have made meat much cheaper than ever. You won’t buy all your meat here but for a decent meal and taste meat as it is meant to taste – Moen’s is the place to go. Saturday’s can be busy but if you get there early you can have a pork roll from the hog roast.
They also do a great selection of cold meats, billtong, salad, veggies and unusual condiments.
