Never again!

Well below expectations
This was my second visit to the Witches Hut and what a bad experience. The only saving grace in this salon is the Educational Director who did my colour. I had booked her for my colour and as before she did a great job. However, as on my previous visit it went down hill fast. The experience didn’t start well when the receptionist ringing to confirm my appointment didn’t actually know what appointment she was confirming. On arrival I sat and waited to be started. After having my foils/colour done I sat enjoyed a drink and read my book. When my hair was ready to be washed it was done once again by a girl who obviously did not want to be there. She was inarticulate, inadequate and rude, her hair washing skills were also less than adequate as she persisted in spraying my face with water, knocking the shower against my head and dropping it into the sink right against my ear. Her attempt to make conversation with me was to ask me a question while her attention was on a colleague never realising I didn’t even answer. With relief I was grunted at to move over to the sofa while I waited for my stylist. I then sat and waited for 25 minutes with wet hair while the male stylist laughed and joked with another client. They had clearly over booked as I have never sat and waited in any salon half way through my appointment. By this time my hair was almost dry I asked how long I would be and was told “not too long”. However he had not even started on his clients blow dry at this point. Totally fed up I paid for my colour and indeed left with wet hair as who on a Friday night after a week at work has time to sit and waste and pay over a £100 for the ‘privilege’? I certainly would not go back which is a shame as the colour was very good but the majority of staff were unaware of clients needs with a careless attitude. Having expressed my disappointment I was not offered a discount or asked if I wanted to see a manager. Unfortunately I was met with a smirk from the receptionist who was clearly frustrated at having to retrieve my coat. Witches Hut Indeed!!
