Duck off the main, chaotic drag of Clapham High Street into this elegantly turned out cocktail and wine bar and it'll feel like you're entering another postcode. Choose from booth seating, tables by the huge glass windows or high stools at the bar, and relax: you are in good hands. The unusual cocktails are consistently well executed, while the disorganised wine menu has been put together with love if not logic (try the really good Sauv Blanc - Isabella-something-or-other). Little orange tea-light lit lamps furnish each table with an intimate glow and the atmosphere here is created by buzz of conversation rather than overbearing music. Food is on offer, though is pretty ordinary. Come here to drink and chat either as the pre-amble to a night out, or as a destination in its own right.
