This pub has an atmoshpere that money can't buy. You can't recreate what Alex the landlord has built up over the years.

The night to come here is on a thursday and grab a table for the infamous pub quiz. He's a character and his question style and questions unique.

Walking into the pub is like walking into a junk shop. There is stuff hanging everywhere. I'm sure there's a story behind every item. There's swords, spiderman and Sammy Davies junior hanging around. It used to be too smokey but these days you can spend hours in this great pub.

You can also get some decent pizza delivered courtesy of the local Italian next door.The range of beer isn't bad and there's a good selection of ales.
