Above expectations
I love this pub. Its like an old mans pub, with dogs wandering round, board games, TV, sofas and a fire. Mixed crowd of young & old locals.
Large outdoor beer garden with tv screen, rugby seems to be a priority. The marquee has plenty of those outdoor heating jobbies, so its nice enough to sit out there in the colder months.
Its just off the Northcote Road, so a 10-15min walk from Clapham Junction. Between wandsworth & clapham commons.

Huge Back Garden for Summer Drinking

As expected
The great feature with the eagle is its huge back garden with lots of seating. Definately somewhere to go in the summer and theres a good lively atmosphere in the summer here as well. It has seating in the front as well, so if you do go, go early if its a warm day. Inside the pub is ok but nothing special but theres a big bar and the service is quick enough. It's in a good location as well just round the corner from the clapham north tube and clapham high street.
