A belly filler.

Most reviews thus far have dwelt on the delights of the Thai food in this place. I can wholly recommend the remainder of the menu, however - having tried most of it I can happily report it rarely disappoints.
Beer is served too, which is nice. Stars lost for lacking a bit on atmosphere, being full of people from Clapham and occasionally being a bit "meh".
Solid.

Yummy Thai food

This place does yummy thai food at reasonable prices. It's also a great drinking venue. When the weathers nice it gets packed in the outside area but this helps create a lively, buzzy atmosphere.

Brilliant Summer Vibe

Beyond expectations
I especially love The Sun in the summer. There's a massive front garden which gets heaving in the summer. It always has the holiday feel about it, people in shorts and flip flops.
They do great Thai food if you fancy it in the week, as it's hard to get a table at the weekend. They also do a pretty mean Cosmopolitan!

The popularity of the Sun I think dates back from when it was one of the first pubs in Clapham to be revamped for the burgeoing non-stabbing population. Or maybe it was popular due to the novely of the pub / restaurant movement. Maybe its the bright exterior? Or something.
It's a bit over rated now, IMHO. Or rather....It's just a pub, serving Thai food and beer. Simple as that.
It's owned by the same group who own the Railway and the Falcon (At the Clapham North End of the High Street) so does good cheap Thai food if you fancy it.
In the heart of Clapham's Old Town, has a beer garden and space upstairs and downstairs. Nice for a pint pre cinema or whatever.
That's really it. Nice pub, good decent food. Can't go wrong.
