Above expectations
Apparently the owner of St Johns in Clerkenwell has said that La Pampa serves on of the best steaks in London.
It was from this review that I decided to give this place a try.
The restaurant was busy and the head waiter managed to magic us a table from nowhere. The service was top notch and friendly. The wine wasn't bad and the steak was excellent. I would have given it five stars but for some reason I haven't been drawn back there since my first visit which is why I've only given it four stars. Perhaps I'm being harsh.
