A great place for Germans and anyone that loves German Food

Above expectations
Being German there is some things you will miss living here. Food and Beer are very high up my list. I can only recommend a visit to Zeitgeist at the Jolly Gardeners. The pub is easily accessible from Vauxhall Station (~10 min walk). Leave Vauxhall Station and walk dowon the Albert Embankment. Turn Right into Glasshouse Walk and then left into Vauxhall Walk. The pub is at the corner of Vauxhall Walk and Black Prince Rd.
It's a really dark pub with lots of atmosphere. They regularly show German Bundesliga and other sporting events on a big screen. There is a little beer garden which is great in summer. The tables and corner seats are comfy but at busy times there isn't enough of them. You can call to book a table though in case you want to make sure you get a seat to have your dinner or want to have your bday party there.
They regularly organise parties to special events such as Karneval too.
All in all it is worth a visit especially for food and beer BUT in the end it is just a pub and I wouldn't regularly travel through the whole of London for it.
Go and check it out.
