Beyond expectations
The Grosvenor is one of those slightly out of the way old school boozers where if you turn up early for a gig here you wonder if you're at the right place. A pretty standard pub on the outside and when you first step in but there's basically a back room that is hired out for DIY punk, hardcore, metal and other gigs. The only thing is that because it's not a formal venue and the shows are put on buy individual diy promoters it can be quite hard to find out what's on. Recommend popping in if you're in the area as there are usually posters and flyers up on the wall. Sound system isn't amazing or anything but atmosphere is usually good, beer and entry is cheap and there's usually some distro stalls with cheap records, CDs, shirts etc
