Beyond expectations
I must say after all the 'others' I did find my first experience of this salon a positive one. I went there previously with my daughter one friday evening without an appointment to get single plaits and was put off by the price they quoted. I was a bit upset for my little girl because we didnt have the right amount of money and as she was due to start a new job the following saturday morning .In the end we settled for one further along the road but the service was not what we had expected and the staff attitude was definately a zero rating. This time i decided to treat myself while my daughter was at home taking out her extensions and was pleasantly surprised to find that the service was good the colour came out good and although I have to say the price is not in my usual budget range I ENJOYED THE EXPERIENCE much better than when I have to do it myself down at the local sauna with the henna from the somalian ladies grocery shop or buy my little £2.99 bottle from the local hair shop and wonder why as soon as i dye it the white hair dem come back again. Well, it is my birthday hairdo so I suppose a girl has to splash out sometimes. The body massage in the chair was an welcome bonus, NICE ONE! I definatley would visit again when I need a bit of pampering. the stylists were STYLISH YOU SEE! This inspired a bit of confidence in me in the products on display. only minus for me was that they didn't have a soft brush to brush my short natural hair and made me feel I HAD PICKY HAIR..BUT ONCE I REACHED BRIXTON I WENT AND BOUGHT ANOTHER SOFT BRUSH TO BRUSH MY LITTLE BITSY HAIR I HAVE 4 SOFT BRUSHES AT HOME AND FORGOT TO PUT ONE IN MY HANDBAG.
