Above expectations
Over looking the Thames by Tower Bridge, this is a big pub/restaurant but it needs to be. Very busy but good service and excellent food, make sure yo check the specials board as I almost missed out on a great roast beef and all of the trimmings...

No Frowns At Browns!

This was my first dining experience in London for a few years... I wasn't disappointed!
If you are familiar with the Browns restaurant chain (my other experience was the Browns in Bristol... Excellent!) then you will know what you are getting.
For the newbies, you should definitely try this place out. Food is gastro pub, with a nice wine/drinks menu. There is a relaxed, informal dining enviroment which still manages to let you know you are in a restaurant... Classy!
The views from the windows or outside (in the Summer, naturally) are stunning as you are located on the south side of the Thames in the shade of Tower Bridge. This really is the difference.
We booked for a Sunday night but really didn't need to- There were plenty of tables available (although it was raining).
Located close to Tower Bridge tube and within the Shad Thames area, where you'll find a host of restaurants and bars.

excellent restaurant especially in the summer time sitting outside by the river. Nice lounge area for drinking and relaxing.
Not to expensive aswell which is a suprise for the location next to Tower Bridge. Well Recommended.
