There's quite a few of these Caribbean takeaway joints in Peckham and I've tried several others (most recently, the one on Bellenden Road, and the one nearer to Peckham Rye station - I don't know the names of them) and Gabby's is easily the tastiest and just slightly cheaper if you need your rice and peas fix. I would recommend their saltfish patties - absolutely lush. Plus their kingfish and tilapia is mouthwateringly delicious. I have to avoid the scotch bonnets as i'm a wimp and can't deal with the ring of fire the morning after. It's about £4 for a massive bit of fish and rice. Tasty!
