The Gun

The view of the 02 is spectacular from the terrace behind this bar. On a colder day, the real log fire is a real treat too. The decor is highly impressive - all the walls are adorned with firearms from across the ages. The food is pretty good - if a little overpriced, but where this would-be ideal little gastro pub falls down is the service. There are about 10 waiting staff running around The Gun at peak times. Unfortunately none of them seem to know what they're doing. When I was here most recently, I was served by 4 different members of staff. I was served the wrong beverage twice and the they also mistook my food order. The management were apologetic (after a long wait for the bill!) but offered no compensation - which at these prices is kinda hard to swallow!
