Very Disappointing

Went to La Figa on a Friday night. What a disappointing experience.
Food - It seems necessary to cover everything in a sea of olive oil. I ordered the seafood salad to start. Poor quality seafood with lettuce all sitting in half an inch of olive oil which I had to pour out into a side plate.
Value for Money - Very poor. £6 for a glass of wine, £4 for an orange juice. What a rip off. They give you large portions of food to justify the very high prices on the menu.
Service - Is fine but there is an over the top friendliness at first. If you spend lots of money and are fake in return you are fine. If you ask to share a dish with another diner in your partner you are met with frowns and scowls.
Overall it is a poor place to eat or drink. i woke up this morning feeling I had been mugged. Particualrly as 30 yards down the road is a Gordon Ramsey gastropub (The Narrow) which is cheaper and such a better standard.
Have 2 average meals anywhere else rather than one poor one at La Figa
An unexpected delight

Like others before me, I too was directed to La Figa by the lovely Ana at the Holiday Inn Express.
I was on my own, but sat amongst the throng of diners so I could earwig their conversations; it was certainly popular with the more affluent locals!
Every dish was superb, especially the cotoletta which was matched to the perfect vegetables - and with my sweet-tooth I couldn't decide on a dessert; my waiter nodded knowingly and returned with an awesome tiramisu profiterole concoction - it was so good I left the restaurant laughing that my colleagues had all missed out!
Great find

We stumbled on La Figa as we were staying at the Holiday Inn Express London Limehouse and they recommended it. Absolutely great and we are returning to the restaurant this week-end on a return visit to London. The best mussels we have ever tasted and the Bruschetta was first class. Wonderful Crab and Mango for my wife's main course and I had Veal T Bone - wow!! If you are in the area, go for it!!
Top quality Italian food, served with a smile

Beyond expectations
This is easily my favourite restaurant in London. Set next to a beautiful fountain, literally five minutes walk from Limehouse DLR Station, La Figa is a fabulous Italian Restaurant providing a friendly atmosphere, top quality food, and some exquisite wines. With pizzas, pasta and so much more, the food is delicious and filling, but with pizza in particular, the staff are often seen giving the remains of a meal to someone to take away and finish the following day. For me, it is a joy to finish their pizza the following morning. A truely brilliant restaurant.
