What a little stunner!

06 Aug 08, 17:32 5* Beyond expectations

Went to Rosa's cafe last week...and went again this week! Food is just brilliant, fresh, imaginative and super tasty! The fresh spring rolls are like no others that I have had- full of delicate flavours, venison in chilli source is to die for and Japanese tempura style prawns in a very light batter are, indeed, out of this world! Saiphin aka Rosa (...don't go there!) has a triumph on her hands helped as she is by super friendly staff. Decor is just right for this innovative new business. Suggest you just try it!

Great Thai Food - 020 7247 5830

03 Aug 08, 16:29 5* Beyond expectations

We'd heard about Rosa's through friends and were keen to try it out. So we visisted with four friends on Saturday night - it had just received its license so it made for a great evening out. The decor really matched the location and style.... Saihpin the the owner/manager acted as our host and gave some great recommendations from her menu. For starters we shared her signature Fresh Spring Rolls, Lamb and Fish Satay and spicy prawns. These were an excellent introduction and we couldn't wait to try the main courses. We chose the special seafood curry with squid, scallops and prawns, rack of lamb in Thai sauce (there aren't many sheep in Thailand so this is a "fusion" dish), Chicken & Cashew nuts, Duck Curry and a mix of vegetables and rice. It all arrived very promptly and proved as excellent and fresh as we'd been led to believe.

The food was complemented by a short wine list and a nice Pinot Grigiot was enyoyed by all.

Saiphin then treated us to a Mango and sweet rice desert.

We all agreed that it had been a great meal, lovely food with prompt and friendly service - and look forward to returning soon with other friends to try some of the other dishes on the menu.
