Beyond expectations
Each time we have been in there has been something new on the menu. The crayfish bagels, the wonderfully original muffins, the wholesome smoothies and what must be the best coffee in Balham. Yes it`s always busy and the car is a great attraction for the children, young and old. It also makes a change to be served by staff who really seem to care and enjoy their jobs. All this from an independent cafe!

Above expectations
...the food is too nice. Most of it seems to have been made by local yummy mummies but who cares 'cause they can't half bake. It's really, really child friendly and there's all kind of stuff for them to play with / destroy. Comfy sofas and very friendly staff, too. Be warned though, it is small so it's not neccesarily somewhere you'd want to go if you fancy a bit of peace and quiet. My top choice - the scones with jam. Yummy.
