Poor service

Well below expectations
I went here with a large group of work colleagues and the service was pretty rubbish, we had to wait ages and then people's meals came out at different times. When we complained the staff did reduce the bill but didn't make for a great eating out experience. The menu is the same as most pizza places and it didn't stand out as somewhere I would want to go back to.

passable pizza

As expected
Would only really come to this restaurant out of convenience – last time was because I had just spent the day in Hyde Park and ended up here out of lack of imagination. What did make my visit memorable however, was that we spotted Montoya eating here... Anyway, the food is what you would expect from a standard pizza place, no different to Pizza Express and prices are also similar.
As mentioned in the previous review, what makes the difference is the live jazz music – great if that is your thing but if that is of no interest to you then you would probably be better off elsewhere.

Jazz, man

Above expectations
I came here to see my friends band, with my boyfriend at the time and we had a brilliant night out.
The staff were friendly, polite and efficient. The food was good, the music was good and the way the place is decorated gives it a Ronnie Scots type feel, but bigger (and less expensive).
The restaurant is split into two sections, with the "jazz" bit downstairs. So if you don't want to pay for entry you dont have to, and you can sit away from the music.
All in all, a great night out.
