London has too few good bridalshops. Pronovias is a serious Spanish wedding dress outfit that has just opened a flagship store here (Nov 06) on New Bond Street. Previously their designs were only available through small random independent outlets as far as I can tell, so it's great that you can now see the whole collection in one giant store. I visited a few days after the grand opening, and to be honest the staff didn't really know what they were doing yet...however, the selection of dresses both in terms of price and design is really good. From the v affordable, v italian over the top frothy, to Ellie Saab's spectacular showstopping numbers, there really is an impressive range. Check out the website before you visit, so you have an idea of what you want to try on, or it might get a bit overwhelming. I'd say this was a good place to start your search for the big dress.
