Beyond expectations
Benn to Langan's for a mates birthday (twice now for two separate years) and it is definitely a place to go! It is brilliantly casual and laid back, indeed when you arrive for lunch at 12.30, you can have a relaxed drink in the 'garden' as it is affectionately known (an area with green carpet!!) before being shown to your table, and don't expect to leave before about 7 o clock! The waiters are brilliant and attentive, the wine list long and full, and the food is down to earth, proper English, and absolutely fantastic (go for the bangers and mash - it's superb!).
Langans is always very busy, a tribute to its popularity, and you will have difficulty making a reservation, but it is well worth sitting on the waiting list as it is just so good.
Five stars all the way.

Beyond expectations
Having been to Langans for the first time only last week I was overly impressed! I spent 7 hours there eating drink and generally having a blast! The food was truly amazing and I really liked the fact there is a drinking area to sit after or before meals. Art work is a bit strange however good for a laugh with a few mates! Only complaint would the tables are to close together however this is just a sign of how popular it is!
