A pure bit of Britishness, the home of the queen and the royal guardsmen, stood proud out front in the red suits and big tall black hair. They don't smile or laugh just have to stand to attention 24/7.

At the back of the palace, large and park-like, is Buckingham Palace Garden. The Garden Front of the palace, by Nash, is of pale golden Bath stone. The garden, which includes a lake, is the largest private garden in London.
Here the Queen hosts her annual garden parties each summer, but since June 2002, she has invited the public into the Garden on numerous occasions. See Buckingham Palace Garden for accounts for the historical spectaculars which marked the Queen's Golden Jubilee (2002) and her 80th birthday (2006).

The Inside

As expected
As someone has already talked about it a bit, i thought i'd tell you about the inside.
Much of it was desgined by Nash, enormous columns of marble all over the main entrance way- red carpet. The stairway going up to the ball room is amazing.
The Ballroom itself has several massive chandeliers- if you look closely you can see a hole in one of them. Its not for a security camera, its just where the crystal got too hot and smashed.
There is a secret door in the white drawing room- but i'm not going to tell you where!

Major tourist attraction

Beyond expectations
The site of this historical landmark is astonishing and very attractive to tourists. This monument is the home of Her Majesty The Royal Queen. The palace looks enormous apparently it has around 700 rooms. Sightings of the queen are yet still very rare to be spotted. I haven't yet been lucky enough to go inside but im persuming the decor would consist of galleries of past royal figures.
