The branch with a certain something.

Below expectations
There's something of an indefinable air about the Victoria Street branch of Halifax. You notice it the moment you walk in, along with what seems at first glance to be an unorthodox queuing system. Is it the smell of money? Of office workers? Perhaps a trapped rodent is slowly decomposing in whatever is used in place of an air conditioning unit.
Whatever. You don't stick around long enough for your olfactory senses to figure it out. The queue(s) haven't budged, so you leave that Five Year Bonus Gilt Xtra ISA Bond Plus for another day.
