Ok so they are bad for you but boy are they tasty! Krispy Kreme's have earnt themselves a reputation for being the best donuts around, and rightly so. A tad overpriced and a bit of a luxury but as long as you aren't buying these all of the time you should be fine!

My Krisy Kreme donut cost me a day's wages...

I have a story about Krispy Kreme...

I used to work at Harrods (I was employed as a freelancer) and got into work one morning and we had a team meeting. Someone had very kindly bought 2 massive boxes of Krispy Kreme donuts. Being a greedy guts, plus craving a sugar rush to keep me awake during some rather tedious meeting that I didn't care about, I decided to scoff a KK donut.

About 30 minutes later, I started feeling queasy and went to the toilet to chuck up. I feel a little bit better, but not much. I then started to get all headachey and had to go chuck up again. It was the bloody donut!!

I had to admit defeat and head off home, thus losing a day's wages. I reckon it's the bloody hydrogenated fat in the donuts that made me chuck up rather violently.

Well and truly done in by a donut. I avoid KKs at all costs now!

Quite simply the world's greatest donuts ever. The classic original glazed is the one for me, hot though, either very fresh from the machine or nuked for 8 seconds in the microwave, um.

This is what i call heavenly delicious food! Donuts can not get any better then krispy kremes donuts! They are very addictive, but i can't seem to eat any more then 3.. and Charlottes right you do tend to feel slightly sick afterwards!

I want one NOW!

Lucy has got it spot on....they are de Licious! The only trouble is, one is not enough, two and you may as well have a third....and then you feel...well, slightly sick, but oh well, its worth every bite!

These donuts were so popular in America that they further encouraged the craze that is obesity. Glazed donuts or a large variety of outrageous fillings make these donuts addictive and i can't think of anyone who doesn't like them.

Harrods were the first KK outlet in England and it's still the best. The week they opened they gave away so many free that everyone in knightsbridge put on 4 stone each. Worth it though, because each doughnut is like a little piece of heaven. I prefer the original glazed variety, but there are plenty of others to chose from-best warm straight off the conveyor belt. The dozed boxes make a great alternative to taking chocolates to a dinner party. And the packaging is retro-fabulous.
