Worth the BB-Queue!

This place is always packed and for good reason.
Upstairs there is the counter service restaurant with bar style seating and US sports on large TVs.
There's a wide-range of menu options from ribs, to sandwiches, to the burgers. The portions are a plenty and I can't figure out what it is that they add to the the fries, but they taste delicious. There's also free refills on soft drinks.
Downstairs is a more formal restaurant that's equally as good and less noisy but tables are at a premium unless you've already booked.
Groups: What's a new platform anyway?

Cheap, cheerfull and downright yummy. They always do fantastic deals which you can find on their website, and the ribs are so good. I suggest booking the resturaunt downstairs as the deli is a bit hectic. make sure you book though especially on a sunday. Walked past this place on night and me and my friends were drawn in by the smell, however we didn't have a booking and had to wait until the following week were we made sure we boooked. worth the wait though.
My only problem was that I couldn't fit in dessert as I was too full and that can't be bad, I even took some of my ribs home in a doggy bag.

Unashamedly American. Gratifyingly good.
This place represents one of the reasons that I have to resume my lapsed gym membership.
If you're in the mood for American style BBQ, this place beats all contenders. I don't think I've had anything on the menu that I've not enjoyed. The Boston Butt sandwich, pulled pork and the ribs will always have a special place in my heart though. Thank god for Gaviscon.

... will book a table in the downstairs "Rib Room".
The upstairs section seems to have been reviewed quite thoroughly already, so I'll concentrate on the Rib Room.
Far away from the madness of the busy upstairs section, the Rib Room is a sumptuous wood panelled basement restaurant - the portions are considerably larger than upstairs. Highlights are the Burnt Ends - deliciously meaty chunks of slow cooked brisket which are then roasted for a short while to crisp them up a bit. Superb, but only available on Monday or Wednesday.
Tuesday night is a good time to visit as the steaks are half price - the 14oz ribeye is particularly good value. You must book a table to avoid disappointment!
In addition to the fine selection of american beers, root beer is available too! Of the new items on the menu, I have only tried the pecan pie, which was well above average. Apparently the lamb ribs are divine and the cajun crab cakes very good too.
I have only ever had three very slight issues in all my mealtimes here (probably more than 30 times now!) - the pepper steak sauce is weird, the key lime pie is not the best in town, and the staff occasionally try to serve my espresso with brown sugar. Nit-picking, I know, but it still gets five stars.
For meat lovers this is one place you must visit in London.

Fast Food

As expected
This place makes a change. You can catch an Ice Hockey brawl on TV whilst chomping on some pulled pork - nice! I've never been to Canada but it kind of feels a little bit Canadian (sorry if this is making any lumberjacks blood boil). The set up is really quite basic, put your order in, get your food on a tray, buy a beer, sit on a high chair and pull at some pork or spare ribs.
So if you like your fast food this makes a change from McDonalds or KFC. Give it a try and see what you think

Only ever been here for lunch - but I've never been disapointed. The place is always pretty much rammed full of eager bodies feasting on the sort of quality meat that is hard to find elsewhere - especially at this price and speed!
You're guaranteed a slab of (or in the case of the exuqisite pulled-pork, shredded) meat which won't touch the sides as you scoff it down. Throw in a some chips, some dips, and a drink, and you've got a great meal which is bound to make you sleepy in the afternoon. Vegetables are largely unheard of in this place, and rightly so! Do yourself a favour and treat yourself to some Bodeans action - you know it makes sense.

Forget McDonalds, KFC and Burger King, this is the only place to go for proper hardcore fast food action. This is not a place to go if you're on a diet, feeling healthy or a vegetarian - this is meat central. Even their chips are made from meat... probably...
Seriously though, if you're after a bap with just a ton of meat in it, be it pork or chicken, topped with Bodean's own special sauce, with a side of chips (or fries as they call them) and a bit of coleslaw to make you not feel like you're not a complete pig, then this is the only place for you to go to.
Usually, I go for the chicken breast bun things which have the largest breasts I've seen this side of Jordan, but every so often I go for a pulled pork bun which is also really nice. To top it all off, you can't beat a nice ginger beer to wash it all down.
I wouldn't go to this place every week, otherwise I'd be so fat that I'd have my own gravity field. It's one of those places you go for a treat, when you're feeling manly and need to eat a large portion of dead animal, topped with lovely sauce.

It might be that you have a monumental hangover. Or that you're in the process of working on tomorrow's - either way Bodean's could be the ideal place to over-indulge on the cheap (ish). First, let me be clear: this is not a hangout for vegetarians, vegans, or those who prefer their meat to look like it was grown in its cellophane packaging. Secondly, under no circumstances should you visit before going dancing, or proposing anything more active than, maybe, sitting. Or rolling. Everything on the menu is good (and if it's not to your taste, just add copious amounts of the special recipe BBQ sauce). The pulled pork is phenomenal - try it in the Boston Butt Deli Sandwich, or, for a tenner you can get 1/2 a rack of ribs, pulled pork, fries and a beer. They sell puddings too, but I don't know anyone who has made it that far.
