Trendy but no chocolate

I think this is a really cute and trendy place, altho dont be fooled into thinking anything is made from chocolate in here, not sure where that comes from. Its got a great menu with large portions and is in the hive of soho.

Name?

21 May 08, 12:13 4 Above expectations

The name lead to lots of curiousity, a typically catchy ring to it, amde me a bit dubious thinking it was gonna be quite drab, however when I walked in I was pleasently suprised, playing some good funky house music, and having a great set of furniture to compliment this modern and trendy bar.

Worth a visit.

Don't trust a book by its cover

13 Feb 08, 16:05 5 Beyond expectations

When my sister told me she wanted to go here for her birthday my heart filled with dread. At first I was concerned that my sister, the non-Londoner, was going to some commercial, trashy place that would be playing bad Rn’B, but I was pleasantly surprised. The place was snug with many chipped wooden tables crammed together to give a lively yet relaxed vibe.

The great thing about this bar is the table service, which is done ever so politely and efficiently. It was a really good place for a birthday as they separated a section of seats off for us and let us pay for our drinks individually which stopped any confusing bills at the end. The chocolate cocktails are original, tasty and great for a treat. I really would recommend this place for a party or a few drinks after work, just to note though, it does get busy with the media types later in the evening.

What's in a name?

08 May 07, 10:44 3 As expected

Don't be deceived by the moniker, there is nothing Cadbury's, Nestle or Green & Blacks -related going on here, rather think American diner-style food such as club sandwiches, perfect hotdogs and creamy coleslaw served up by polite French staff. The scrubbed wood floors and dark brown decor give the place a relaxed, well-styled feel. Busy and buzzy by night, it's a great spot for a post-work drink. It's also located in a great part of Soho - think ironmongers, fabric stores and cafes rather than ad agencies and tv companies.
