I was in desperate need of a leg wax and I thought i'd found a gem when i heard about this place, tucked away on Poland Street.
The price was reasonable (18.50 for half leg) and i didn't need an appointment.
Unfortunately, as mentioned above you get what you pay for.
No talc applied before wax, no hooks to put your clothes on, the beautican stayed in the room and watched me undress, no towel provided for modesty, legs shoved around all over the place, no moisturiser applied before i had to turn over, and when it was all over she started tidying the room and preparing for the next client while i got dressed in the corner!
I've had better results, and more professional waxes.
I was offered a loyalty/bribery card too. Buy ten treatments, get one free.
I like the idea of this place, and am not totally out off. i don't think i'll go back for a wax but i might try a pedicure.
Groups: What's a new platform anyway?

Cucumba is a great little find if you need to pop out at lunch for a quick manicure, wax or chair massage.
They have quite a high turn over of staff and some are not that great, but if you go a few times some of the girls who have been there for longer are much better.
You are in and our fairly quickly and all the staff are very friendly.
Also its not too expensive which is great if its near the end of the month
Groups: Team incredibly good looking
