I took my French in-laws here years ago and it was very disappointing..... also I went here with my mum a few years ago and she got chatted up by some dodgy alcholic bohemian. Nice beer though - if it's good enough for Francis Bacon and Tom Baker it's good enough for you.

Had an excellent meal here - try the Chateaubriand to share, and ask the waiter for his recommendation on a wine... follow this up with a great selection of cheeses, and some top-notch port. Very nice setting and intimate too, with only about 15 tables or so. Most people don't even realise it's a restaurant too - the entrance is tucked in the corner and is above the pub reviewed above.

Highly recommended!

Really nice small pub in Soho famous for its wine and beer served in small glasses. The walls are adorned with the rich and famous and you are bound to see one.
