One of my favourite coffee shops...

25 Jul 08, 15:23 5* Beyond expectations

I stumbled across this place by accident when invited to take part in a BBC London Tonight report about wi-fi in the capitol. They have free wi-fi.... I've returned many times since.

The staff are cool and friendly. They don't moan about using their power whilst working for a number of hours.

The coffee and food are well about par, and reasonably priced.

Pack a pair of headphone though, unless you're a fan of Virgin Radio!!

Frothy coffee

25 May 08, 17:34 4* Above expectations

The breakfast in here is lush and so is everything about it, its very chic and great for a frothy coffee and a gossip. The food is presented very well and the scrambled eggs are so lush coz they put double cream in there. Absolutely top, altho a little busy.

American Breakfasts and Smoothies to Die For!

30 Apr 08, 10:59 4* Above expectations

The Breakfast club is a compact shabby chic type cafe cum diner in Soho. It's decked out with slightly retro elements and old sturdy bits of furniture, and a bright but not in your face paint job. They serve a good mix of breakfasty/brunch food and have smoothies that taste as good as they sound. The Blue Monday Remix and Mango-A-Go-Go are particularly good for an extra burst of energy the morning after the night before.

Coupled with an Amercian style 'All American' - eggs, bacon, pancakes and maple syrup breakfast and one of their massive latte's it's the perfect place to start a weekend day. It's also apparently good for early morning work meetings, though I haven't had the pleasure of experiencing this yet {hint, hint}.

p.s. The Soho branch is only open Monday - Saturday. They also have a branch in Angel that's open Sundays but I've not been there yet.
