Good Vegie Takeaway

I'm not vegetarian myself but I've heard many a vegie sing praise for Maoz.
Max J. has summed it up nicely and that echoes my sentiments exactly. Especially the bit about "stacking on the veg and salad"... coleslaw, tomato, cabbage, olives, pickles, carrots, couscous, cucumber, peppers.. and a good range of dressings.
The addition of Belgian chips makes a Maoz a tasty proposition after a night drinking or at lunchtime. With all that salad it's gotta be healthier than a kebab!

....With the bloke above about Maoz. The help yourself option is always a winner, and the chips are the best ever, double fried like proper Belgian jobbies. One complaint - I'd like a cup of tea and proper cutlery, please.
More Maoz - Tasty Healthy Takeaway

I love Maoz. It never fails to satisfy a drunken hunger at the end of night in Soho.
Like lots of great things in life, the principle is simple - pitta and falfel, choose your extras - hummous or aubergine and then start stacking on the veg and salad as you see fit.
All the ingredients are super-fresh (no limp lettuce or soggy tomatos), and for under £4 you can't go wrong. My only criticism would be that they haven't opened one up next to my office, as the perfect lunch time option. For real Maoz obsessives out there, they also have outlets in Amsterdam, Paris and Barcelona (which I have also used).
