Mugenius

Above expectations
This particular branch of Muji is a two-floor affair (mainly clothes upstairs, mainly stationary downstairs) and operates much like the many other stores in the chain. Highlights on offer include fantastic minimalist furniture, pencils and photo albums. Lowlights are the slightly less than fantastic cut-to-size rain macs and odd-flavoured Japanese fizzy pop.
Muji is especially reccommended at Christmas time - for those hard-to-buy-for relatives nothing says "merry christmas" like a Muji lint roller.
Random fact - in Japan you can buy a Muji house.
I love Muji

Beyond expectations
I'm a bit of a Muji obsessive.
Over the years my life seems to have been slowly infiltrated by Muji products, first it was stationary, passport holders and flip flops, and then when I finally settled down in London, it seems with each piece of furniture I've replaced over the years that Muji always wins hands down on quality, price and design.
As such this weekend, I've now added a Muji bedside tables to my Muji bed and Muji bedspread. Oh dear.

Great shop for nick-nacks

Beyond expectations
Muji is a Japanese shop that sells clothes, stationary and random nick nacks. The designs are very Japanese , clean, fresh, simple and stylish. The products are reliable and also functional. I love their mini desk set, that has a mini highlighter, stapler, pencil, paper-everything you need in one little box. You'd only dislike Muji if you like your products fussy and flowery; otherwise it's a great shop.
