Great vibe but quite expensive

There's a couple of leather couches at the front of this restaurant which are perfect relaxing with a big glass of wine after work.
However, I do find the menu is generally overpriced across food and wine and what should be a relatively laid-back, inexpensive evening aways ends in disappointment when the bill arrives! I just don't feel you get value for money here...

Italian Tapas

Beyond expectations
Really good little haunt of media types, this. The Italian tapas idea is excellent, as the food lends itself to small, shareable taster plates.
The restaurant is small and narrow with some couches at the front - don't go downstairs unless you have to. Service is polite and efficient. The wine list is tasty, even at the cheap end, and the food is really delicious. Layered aubergine, chicken wrapped in parma ham, veal and black olive meatballs, various pasta dishes, lots of prawns and calamari and various vegetable dishes are all excellent. Try and save room for the Italian cheese plate at the end.
Even if you only go for the cheaper options, you'll struggle to escape without spending £30 a head, but it's well worth it.

Aperitivo!

Above expectations
Wooden shiny polished tables and chairs, wouldn't say its cosy but the atmosphere is fantastic. The staff were very attentive and friendly. The portions of food are generous! they were really filling. They offer a wide selection of wines and also suggest which ones would be more suitable for different courses, which topped it all off!

Italy meets Spain

This is a brilliant concept - Italian tapas - and unsurprisingly it's hugely popular with local office workers and the post-work crowd. By the door, there are lovely leather sofas to relax and pass the time on, while the restaurant has about 30 covers. When ordering, you choose a selection of dishes at any one time, and while you're waiting you'll be brought delicious, thin crisp bread drizzled with olive oil. The petite pasta dishes and mixed meat platters are especially good.
