Good but Noisy

As expected
I have visited this Japanese restaurant and I enjoied the simple atmosphere and the good food. My friends and I ate sashimi and sushi that were good and fresh. The staff was nice and pleasant. The restaurant was quite busy and there were noise and a bit of confusion, this has been the only bad thing.

Sakura

Above expectations
The best miso ramen I have found in London is at Sakura. Sometimes. And that's what keeps Sakura from being an excellent restuarant - when their food is good, it's some of the more authentic Japanese food you'll find around. But it can be inconsistent, which isn't what you crave from an eatery.
Their menu is big and their sushi succulent, and you'll find all your favorites available. There's very often a queue (and a brusque front of house man to manage the herds) with plenty of Japanese among those waiting and eating. It's a busy jumble inside, with televisions on and large murals of nature scenes on the walls. The prices are very reasonable, especially since it's so central and the food is Japanese.
I've never had a bad meal at Sakura, and when it's good it lives in memory. But when you come to hope to experience a level of excellence at each visit, and get treated to something less 1 in 10 of the times, you can't help but call the place 'inconsistent'.
