A good time starts here and goes on all night. Its buzzing when busy which it always is and certainly gets a little hyperactive inside. Its a very cool basement style and has some great live bands, not just pub bands but REAL bands.

Pretty basic until the night gets going. Its a pretty big place and when buzzing its on fire. The music here is a massive selling point and they always have the best bands here. Top night out, bring your ear plugs.

Beyond expectations
Half of the people who end up here these days probably don't know how history laden this basement establishment they are setting foot in actually is.
Although it's nothing special when you see it pretty empty, the really wide low and wide stage must be wicked to play on whether you're a massive band going back to your roots or a newbie starting off with just an acoustc guitar in tow.
It can get a bit tricky getting from from side to the other when it's (i.e the bar to the toilets) busy but the atmosphere at some of the best gigs you'll ever experience will make up for that.
Just pee in your pants, it's SO rock 'n' roll.

I saw the punk rock band "Against Me!" at the 100 Club on the 3rd July and it was fantastic. Drinks a bit on the expensive side, but I suppose that's to be expected in London!
Despite several notices around that photography was forbidden, the staff didn't seem to mind a few snaps being taken - thumbs up from me!

I went there for the first time on Sat (26th May) to see a great band caled TheBigNaturals play.
The venue itself is pretty cool, fairly large capacity (200 - 300 people or so) and the sound system is really good quality. It's got a reputation for having some huge bands there - loads of big names like Oasis, BB King, Travis, Sex Pistols etc...
