Shocking service

I went to Mango in Oxford Circus yesterday. It's always very hot in there, to the point where you don't want to try on clothes.I found only one changing room open on the top floor to which I queued for 8 minutes to enter. Then as I was leaving, I had to greet the fitting room girl and stand there until she would take the clothes from me. Other customers saw this too. I understand it was busy as I waited 15 minutes to pay. I was buying shoes and once I got to the till, the girl said there's no tag on the shoe, so would i go upstairs to get another one so she could scan it!I I was absolutely shocked at this request. Mango staff carry walkie-talkies to speak to staff in other areas- surely this could have been used in this occasion? I said I've already been standing in the queue for 15 minutes and she replied 'Don't worry, you won't have to queue, just come straight to me.'On going upstairs, I saw two members of staff leisurely talking and then when i came back down, she was serving another customer, so i had to wait for her to finish that transaction!I asked where the manager is, and she was standing on the til next to her. I explained the situation and the manager told me that they are very busy.Isn't THAT what they are paid to do?They had a very nonchalant attitude and didn't take my complaint seriously. They even had security guards walking around leisurely.
MANGO'S CURRENTLY HOT

I must say that the current Mango spring collection is putting Mango back on the map. Their winter collection was very on-trend and purse-friendly. They also listen when people are going through a recession. When their winter coats came in in october, they were a bit too expensive. 2 weeks later they'd dropped their prices to suit the current market. I get regular compliments on the beautiful leopard print coat I bought there - it looks a lot more expensive than it was. Christmas is also very easy. I am not immune to buying a few of a nice item for different friends/relatives. When I visited the other day, using a huge discount coupon from a magazine, nothing was too much trouble for the staff who went being the scenes to find more stock of a dress I liked and kept it aside for me. The Regent Street store is always very well laid out too, with great ideas for outfits. Yes, please.

Do not buy by mail order from this company. They cannot even credit refunds properly. The customer service email does not work. First and last time I shop in this horrendous outlet. What a mistake.

Customer Service Appalling

I've shopped at Mango a few times and always like their ranges but an experience in store has put me off ever shopping at Mango again. Returning an item (with the receipt) which I had bought a week before and had shrunk in the wash I was treated like a criminal and pretty much accused of lying about how I'd washed it! To top it all off I was told I'd have to speak to customer services on an 0845 number during office hours or send an email and wait for a response before coming back into the store to sort it out. Absolutely ridiculous. Still waiting on that response too...

Spanish style and sh**ty service

As expected
A good range of women's clothes - can be a bit hit and miss but turnover of stock is high enough that if you pop in regularly you'll probably find something funky or fresh to brighten up your wardrobe.
Tall girls will love the place - all their trousers are ridiculously long - short girls will have to find a good alterations place.
Prices are competitive, but service is abysmal. To the point of rudeness. If you're really unlucky you'll get one of the Spanish girls who will look at you like you're a complete idiot for a) not speaking Spanish and b) expecting them to have even the slightest bit of knowledge about their stock or the shop. The English ones aren't much better.

i've got to say i like to shop in mango because the clothes are unique to a extent, unlike the latest high street trends which u will find in all branded stores. Mango has funky spanish urban and casual clothes. the brand also holds plently of bags and shoe accessories!!!

Mango sells a good range of womens clothes, from jeans and pyjama bottoms to fancy dresses and suits. All prices are very reasonable, even though the store has a very smart feel and clothes seem well made.
