OK its a lovely looking building and great to look and wonder at as you walk past on the way to the London Eye and London Aquarium. Worth a look and a photo ... but hasnt really got much more to offer

You can see Big Ben from a mile away, so impressive, standing tall and proud in the centre of the best city in the world. Right on the end of the houses of Parliment you'll be very impressed, and there are so many great photo opportunities.

Seriously, why would you need to read a review of Big Ben?
OK, the first thing you learn is that the bell is called Big Ben and not the clock.
Once you get over the excitement of this it is actually really cool to see it - it looks just like on the telly, and you feel like you're really in London. Which you are.
The best view of it is coming over tower bridge with the thames in the foreground.
I would say it's definitely my favourite Clock Of The World. And the chimes have a satisfyingly rich tone. Quite loud too if you're stood underneath and it's chime time.

Millions of visitors to Parliament Square reckon they have seen Big Ben, yet most of them haven’t. That’s because Big Ben is neither the 93 metre-high clock tower nor the 4-faced clock. It is in fact the main bell within the tower.
However, millions more will have heard it, as its chimes are broadcast daily on the BBC’s Radio 4 news programmes and on the World Service.
Bong!
