New Tourist Attraction

21 Aug 08, 11:16 5* Beyond expectations

Being an Ex Londoner on an unexpected visit I was totally shocked by the transformation of this station. No longer the dark, dingey, smelly hole it used to be . For a brief few seconds I thought I traveled through a time warp. Futuristic or what well done the designers well done the constructors and well done Transport for Lonodn for being so bold its what we need in this country.

PS Does MI6 have a secret entry on the lower floor ?

Clean

08 May 08, 11:11 5* Beyond expectations

As Westminster is part of the realtively new Jubilee Line that connects STratford to Stanmore this is quite a nice clean station with a lovcation to die for.

You come out and you're standing right next to the Thames, with Big Ben infront of you, and the London Eye to the right.

With everything within walking distance you can't really do much better.

The older part of the tube station gives you access to the district and circle lines, meaning that its pretty much easy access to anywhere in the capital.

Clean Spacious

05 May 08, 10:44 4* Above expectations

It just shows that if you happen to run the country then you can chose the tube station that should be nicest, and you can choose it to be the one next to your work

Futuristic and modern (along with clean and spacious along the platform - which is a blessing)

One of the few tube stations where you don't feel like your in a rat infested hole.

Not an every day user of the tube only when up in London. This station is the only one i really like to stop at. Its just a shame they all cant be like this.

Impressive

05 Jun 07, 13:10 5* Beyond expectations

I agree with David. The station is easily the most impressive that i've been to. First impressions were that it looks somewhat like an underground complex from the set of a James Bond movie (what with the open piping and glass everywhere).

Of course, that was all I needed to be impressed. Well worth a visit while you're on your travels.

Best Station Ever

04 Jun 07, 22:44 5* Beyond expectations

This is by far the best station in the world. It's all futuristic and modern with doors on the platform, glass walls, lights on the escalators and elaborate pipe systems. If you have to go to any station, go to this one. I guarantee you won't be disappointed.
