Beyond expectations
I almost applied to do an MA here a few years back. FACT had just opened with endorsements from across the new media industry and was offering some really attractive courses. The reason I didn't go is another story and has nothing to do with the quality of resources and teaching on offer -far from it.
FACT was founded Eddie Berg (who is now the Arttistic Director of the BFI's new Southbank project in London) with the aim of offering access to a range of new media teaching and support for creatives up and down the country.
FACT also acts as a exhibition space / cinema / bar and cafe making it a great visit for those visiting Liverpool and those native to the area.
A landmark for a new Liverpool and without question part of the reason she is the European Capital of Culture for 2008.
