Once upon a time it was the biggest

I remember back in the day, the Moon Under Water claimed it was the biggest bar (the actual bar itself) in Europe, that was the main attraction but sadly that was it. It probably still lives off that fact but the truth is, there are so many better pubs in the centre of Manchester. It's a Wetherspoon pub so you know what to expect, cheap drinks, no music and an age range from 18-80.

This is a HUGE wetherspoons - so as you would expect, cheap drinks and its always heaving. This place isn't bad in the day or early evening if you fancy a quick cheap drink in nice surroundings but after 7pm then its madness! Its always packed to the rafters and its pretty hard to get served. Not such a pleasant experience. Its not the cleanest place in the world but at least you can rely on having a cheap few rounds in here. It seems to be the place where everyone in Manchester meets up before they head off into town!
