Utter Bliss!

I love this pub! I've been going there since I was 6 years of age (not to drink!) but to play in the childrens area. Now, at 23years I enjoy the tranquil surroundings with good company, good food, and good drink! I will always reccomend this pub. It is a winner on a sunny day! So Popular!

Does country life get any better ?

29 May 08, 22:03 5* Beyond expectations

Does country life get any better than being able to moor a little motor boat outside the Black Rabbit, then be able to eat locally sourced Sussex produce on the banks of the River Arun?

Every time I've been here it feels like time stops still and you've not a care in the world. Despite the fact it's gets incredibly busy during sunny lunchtimes, it is a great location and pituresque beyond expectations.

Beautiful location

08 May 08, 09:37 4* Above expectations

I found this purely by accident one day about 5yrs ago and it is was a gem of a find. It's situated on the banks of the Arundel overlooking the river, which is beautiful on a warm summers day.

Nice just to go here and have a lovely lunch with colleagues or friends and enjoy the chilled out atmosphere.

One drawback is in the summer it gets very busy but, if you can overlook that then you will have a lovely meal here.

Amazing Location, Great Food!

I discovered the Black Rabbit a couple of years ago and, although now very populat it has lost none of its charm in the intervening years.

Set alongside the river at a point where it has already become tidal, you look out over the marsh meadows, which are a nature reserve and take in that distinctive aromatic blend of sea and land.

Sit outside on a sunny day, and take in the relaxing surroundings of Arundel!

Good points: Location, Charm.

Bad Points: VERY busy! Get lunch early, or late... forget about getting lunch at lunch time on a sunny day!
