I love this place, mainly because if you say its your birthday they turn all the lights off, make you stand on your chair, and all the staff come out a sing happy birthday to you followed by Cliff Richards Congratulations and jubilations la la la. The food is good its an American theme so lots of burgers and fries! They do geat cocktails all quite cheap.

Bit Dry

I've been to a few Frankie and Benny's across the country, this one being my most regular. i've been a 3 times before going to the cinema. The staff are always helpful, but rushed off their feet! The food i've experianced has been a little dry everytime. I have had to order some of their famous BBQ sauce each time to help my burger/ chicken wings/ etc go down! In future i'll be crossing the walkway to pizza express i think. :-)

Frankie & Benny's is of course a chain but I've only been to the Brighton one at the Marina. It's not my favourite restaurant by any stretch but the staff are lively and efficient and the food is as you'd expect...pizzas, burgers, pasta etc. From a personal point of view they don't have a great deal of choice for veggies. Their mushroom ravioli is very tasty though!

This is the perfect place for families...it's the kind of place I'd have loved as a kid. So to that end there's always lots of nippers in there. Oh and birthdays...always at least three of them in the restuarant on a weekend. You don't have to join in with the singsongs that the staff fire up...but I usually do. Well why not?!

Frankie & Bennys is a great place to go for dinner on a Weekend. It has something for everyone and their food is usually really good. I like their Garlic Bread as it is the size of a pizza!! They are located in Brighton Marina, so you have loads of other bars etc nearby! If it is your birthday, they bring you a little dessert with a sparkler in and play a silly sing. Gets a bit annoying after a while but thats because Im usually a misery.

Great value and atmostphere for a chain.

Frankie and Benny's combine the best of classic American and Italian in both style and cuisine. They specialise in home style cooking 'just like Mamma used to make it'. This is a great place to take the entire family and represents excellent value for money.

If your expecting a "perfect meal" this may not be the place for you, although I can never fault the food. If you think of it as a slightly nicer option for the family than other restaurants of similar clients, IE Pizza Hut, then it is certainly the better option.

Good Points: Good value, Good fun

Bad Points: Birthday parties have a habbit of packing in just after I've sat down for a quick burger before the cinema!!
