Great italian food at surprisingly low prices!

01 May 08, 15:41 4* Above expectations

Since i moved to Brighton i have absolutely loved Donatello's. When i first went for a meal, i couldn't believe the bill, it is such good value for money. There are so many cheap Italian restaurants in Brighton, this is the one that really stands out for me. It is such a huge place that you can always guarantee a table, and whether you're going for a romantic meal for two or you're with a large party, the atmosphere is perfect for both.

Good Grub!

30 Apr 08, 20:36 4* Above expectations

This is my fave Italian restaurant! It does great good quality food, good selection on the menu and the staff are happy and fast. Im a bit of a kid and love looking at the pictures of famous people on the walls, and i think this adds to the great family atmosphere. They do the best chocolate fudge cake ever, its worth going there just for that. Donatellos is huge and has plenty of room so unlike other restaurants you dont feel like your sitting on top of each other. Generally a great place to go and will remain a firm favourite of mine.

Cheap but cheerful

If you fancy a quick cheap pizza or some pasta this is the place to go, service is quick and fairly good and it's really good value for money.

Situated in the south lanes, Donatello's is a must visit, if you're into Italian!

It's got a chilled out atmosphere that caters for everyone's needs.

I've been going there for years and have never had a bad meal!!!

Long may it last!!

Gorgeous grub at great prices

Gorgeous grub at great prices...you really do get a great night out here. This restaurant's never been more popular. I can remember coming here years and years ago for a friend's 18th birthday and it catered just as well then for big groups as it does now.

Great Value

21 Apr 08, 17:21 4* Above expectations

Fantastic value for money, Donatello kept me going whilst working in Brighton. Delicious food, served quickly and to a great standard. the set meal is fantastic value for money, and quality isn't compromised either. Katie Price was sat eating a pizza here the last time I went.

Set menu is a bargain

One of Brighton's biggest and most famous italian restaurants... ..Donatello is the mothership of many of the others in the city centre. You get what you expect from an Italian. Pizza, pasta, a range of main meals and most importantly... ...wine. They offer a 3 course set menu for around a tenner which is great value. Often end up here late afternoon on a Saturday after a hard day's shopping. Tony Blair has eaten here, there's a picture of him on the wall.

Cheap, cheerful and very fast

20 Apr 08, 15:51 3* As expected

If you want a cheap pizza or pasta dish in a hurry in Brighton city centre then Donatello is your place. I don't recommend it if you're looking for something special. But if you want to fill a gap and then get on with shopping. Or you haven't booked anywhere and everything is full on a Saturday night you can always get a table at Donatello.

The best value for money Brighton has to offer!

17 Apr 08, 13:56 4* Above expectations

This old-established Italian favourite in Brighton just rolls on and on, as successful as when it started. Situated in the heart of Brighton's famous Lanes, Donatello is an Italian restaurant frequented by me, locals, visitors and celebrities alike!

Not 4 star food, but for the price you cannot go wrong... It probably costs more to park in Brighton than to dine here!
