Nice gig venue

his place has 2 sides to it; a nice bar and dining area upstairs and an intimate gig area downstairs.
I thought that it was reasonably priced for a venue on the sea front and had a great atmosphere. The door staff are a little grumpy so make sure you have ID and wot not as they do like to make a fuss over everyone but generally it’s a really good place to go for a night out in Brighton.
If your favourite band is playing here I would say GO GO GO!

fantastic in the summer

This club has a special place in my heart. I used to spend many a weekend night here in the mid ninetees (usually when I should have been revising for exams) having a great time when the venue was formerly the Escape. Since then the venue has been divided in to two seperate clubs, so you can either pay to go upstairs, or downstairs. The two floors were recently combined for a one-night-only party which was "just like the old days" where you could wander freely between the two floors. I love the decking they've put outside the Above Audio entrance which is fantastic in the summer .

Above expectations
Audio is probably the most reputable and popular club overall in Brighton when it comes to the amount of nights it has that appeal across the board of clubbers. With all kinds of electronic music nights, gigs and its weekly gay night Dynamite Boogaloo it really has everything a club needs musically and stylistically. Although a bit on the small side for a venue this talked about and only having one room, the vibes are always running in there, its always crammed to capacity at weekends and it is certainly somewhere you'll go back if for no other reason than because everyone else does.
