I Love Pizza Express

Above expectations
I never have any complaints about Pizza Express as i love the Lasagne, pizza and dough balls! At this branch though, the service i recieved was well above average too! The Waitress knew her stuff as my partner questioned her about the beer, and i the wine. She seemed to really care that we enjoyed our food, drink an evening in general. Excellent service.

Below expectations
Normally you can't fault Pizza Express. However, I think I had the worst pizza of my life in this branch. I went for my favourite, 4 cheeses, and it was awful. The base was so doughy it was soggy. We also had to wait about an hour for it. It definitely was not worth the wait. The staff were really inattentive and ignored us when trying to get their attention. Won't go back.

Above expectations
Pizza express is a huge chain of restaurants and in everyone I have visited so far the experience is pretty enjoyable. The service is great, the food caters for all tastes and its reasonably priced. Its a great place to go with friends, whether it be for lunch or dinner and the atmosphere is nice and laid back. Located right in the heart of the lanes, it has a real Brighton feel and is easy to rest your tired feet after an energetic shopping trip.

As expected
Pizza Express remains a hugely popular bedrock of casual eating. Its popularity is testimony to the fact that across the country, they have restaurants where you will always be guaranteed a good nosh, with children's tastes being well catered for. and AMAZING desserts (Thats if you have room!)
This Brighton store, however, is not my favorite of their restaurants. Maybe it's because there are better places in Brighton of similar value
