Beyond expectations
Open House is a great pub located next to London Road station. Its funky decor and friendly service are a hit with everyone. They also have a huge fantastic beer garden that is great with an ice cold drink on those rare sunny days. Regular live music and DJ nights. Great atmosphere, great food and friendly staff! A definate re-visit to be planned!

As expected
Fabulous layout, fabulous beer garden, fabulous food... why has it only got three stars I hear you ask? Answer, because it tries to hard. I don't understand why a pub as good as this makes the effort to attract SOOOOoo many students when we all know they're skint.

Above expectations
I first visited the Open House last summer, and found it to be a really lovely pub...
There's a big outdoor area, perfect for those lazy summer evenings we get so many of... and it's lovely indoors too.
The food is great.
It's really hard to park nearby, but not far from London Road so you can easily bus it there, and have a few drinks.

Beyond expectations
Open House provides the perfect atmosphere for any night of the week. Head there at the weekend for a little boogy or pop down during the week for a relaxed evening with a cooling drink and brilliant food. I would definatly advise trying the goats cheese ciabbata, very yummy! Living up to its name, Open House is covered in art work from the Open House artists.
