The Lord Nelson

The best bit about the Lord Nelson on Trafalgar Street is the back room which is really light and airy and can be hired for free. You can reserve tables and our work recently had an excellent buffet lunch here. At night they pull down a big screen for big sporting events.

The Lord Nelson is very much reflective of many pubs in Brighton. Fairly near the top of Trafalgar Street and thus not the quickest of places to get to, it is still always busy because of its drinks, its atmosphere, and more importantly its age. With a very large selection of local ales and stouts which always attract people, its interior is very antique-looking and is like a walk into the Victorian era. Having said that, its customers are not all aged, and its clientele are very diverse. Quality and authentic.
