Well, what a gem this is! I was introduced to this pub by a friend & can't stay away! Pretty small but very friendly.......the best thing about it...........the food, especially on a Sunday. It's not the cheapest place to eat, but it's definately worth paying that little bit extra for! There's lots to choose from on the menu.....& it's impossible not to have a 3 course meal as everything is just delicious! My mouths watering thinking about it now! One word of advice....book early on a Sunday cause it gets very very busy!

Gastropub food close to Brighton Station

Close to Brighton station, this pub has a friendly atmosphere and serves gastro-pub grub from it's specials board. Food isn't cheap, but shows in the quality. Seating is limited, so arriving and ordering early is essential.

Smokers are relegated to the street outside since there is no beer garden.

Just up the road from Brighton station the Yeoman is a great pub with a chatty open atmosphere and great food. The menu is fantastic, lots of fresh fish and yummy specials. My friend described her burger as "to die for" but as she had just been for a 21 mile run (Marathon training) that might have had something to do with it!?!

The Sussex Yeoman is a really well-kept secret. Unless you visit on a Sunday and you'll realise that the whole of Brighton wants to get their sunday lunch here. It has very limited seating, but it's super cosy and the food is delicious for veggies and meat eaters. Their Sunday lunch is really, really tasty and you'll have a great time here.
