Above expectations
So, it's well documented that taxis in Brighton cost the earth and seeing as you're gonna have to pay through the nose you might as well be selective in which one you choose. I go for Streamline everytime. You get to speak to a person and not a machine. This means you get an idea of how long it might be and more often than not it's a lot sooner. They offer callback so if you're upstairs in the bathroom putting the finishing touches to you're face/hair you don't even have to bother looking outside.

As expected
Streamline Cabs are the only taxi firm that turn up early and actually get out of their car and come and ring your doorbell. They are very reliable and efficient.

Uber efficient, just a little pricey. But I'm sure that's another debate. Why are taxis in Brighton just so darn expensive? £10 for 3 miles...this must be more expensive than London. But regardless, this cab firm are always on time and the drivers generally friendly. Except the one that stuck their fingers up at me in the petrol station the other day.
