Top Tandoori

Above expectations
Hove Tandoori just opposite Hove Library is a whole lot hipper than your average Indian.
Decor is clean, cool and contemporary; green palms, wooden floors and candlelight create a welcoming ambience in an intimate setting. Service is attentive but not intrusive.
The cuisine is excellent, carefully cooked with fresh, high quality ingredients - and it tells in the taste. Both the traditional and speciality dishes are subtle yet full of mouthwatering flavour. Delicious food with tempting prices.
Booking is recommended as it's often busy or just grab a takeaway, either way you won't be disappointed.

Award Winning Indian

Above expectations
Located a few steps away from the big Tescos in Hove, Hove Tandoori is a cool little Indian restaurant, offering a great menu with reasonable prices.
Offering both eat-in & takeaway the restaurant is always busy with a bustling atmosphere in the evenings - bookings highly recommended for the weekend.
Virtually all Main dishes come with Pilau Rice and a Poppoadom so all you have to concentrate on is what to drink and which starter you want with your favourite dish.
Make sure you try one of the Specials, you won't regret it.

Funky Indian Restaurant

As expected
I guess you'd call Hove Tandoori a 'contemporary' Indian restaurant. It's all wooden floors and white walls and big vases with twigs in. Not your usual heavy velour seating and flock wallpaper.
The food is good...but not much different to any other Indian restaurant and the service is decent too. The only problem with Hove Tandoori is the size of the place and how many tables they've crammed in there. You can often feel like you're sharing a table with complete strangers.
Don't write it off though...it has a nice relaxed feel to it and because of the whole minimalist decor thing it feels very clean and hygenic too.
