Serene gardens

As expected
Ive visited these gardens alot, I had to do a photography project for uni there and have fallen in love with them. Its spans quite a large area in hove just near the seafront. Its got a great kids park right in the middle which is always busy, decent tennis courts and has hidden treasures such as the well, clock poking out of the bush, the magic tree with all the childrens wishes attached from the local school.. so cute! Its a great park to take a lazy sunday afternoon stroll around, and popular place to sunbathe during the summer.
Fantastic when it's too hot and crowded for the beach

Above expectations
St Ann's Well Gardens, just North of the seafront is a great park with lots of shade and big trees, perfect when the beach is too crazy (especially if you've got young kids you want to stop getting burnt) They sometimes offer yoga in one of the formal bits of the garden. The cafe is excellent, I particularly recommend the meatballs. It has a spring (hence the name) but it is a total disapointment 'cos they've got rid of the well!?
