Gets a bit busy on pension day

Whilst this post office is very handy for work, it does get busy on pension day... and don't even bother going in during weekday lunchtimes (12 -2)... the queue will be out the door.
They do sell chocolate and cigarettes (which are cheaper than the newsagents down the road).
If you need to have a passport photograph taken, there's a booth in here.

Despite it's handy location, this Post Office is pretty useless on supplies. I have never had any problems posting things thankfully but it's the only Post Office I've been in that sells cigarettes?? Sellnig single stamps is a nice touch as not many places do nowadays

This is the nearest Post Office to my place of work...nice and handy. They are a lovely bunch...a smile awaits you as you reach the counter. If you just need stamps and there's a big queue for the windows...just buy them at the fag counter at the front. You can buy singles too...you don't have to get a whole book you know.
Apart from the actual post office services the rest of the 'shop' is a little lacking in other post-officey type products. There seems to be a lot of empty space...but to be honest it's never really affected me that much.

Good customer service but not much stock

The staff in Portslade post office in Station road are very friendly and helpful, particularly if you don't know what size your letter is (who does nowdays) However, the shop is pretty rubbish. They sell some really odd old fashioned stuff and don't have much stock. Plus they often have a queue out of the door 'cos it gets so busy with old people.
