As expected
This is a decent little pub, its been around for years and has recently had a bit of a refurbishment and turned into more of a restaurant. The food is actually pretty damn good especially their sandwhiches which come with a fresh salad. I like going in the summer as they have a really nice beer garden, and its great to go and sit and have quiet drink on a summers afternoon. Its family friendly during the day and gets pretty busy on sundays so may be worth booking.

Above expectations
Hangleton Manor is a large pub and restaurant just North of Hove (it's in Portslade really) I have been here a couple of times to eat and the food is good. Typically pub grub, nothing amazing. There is a large garden and ample parking. There are lots of locals who drink here which makes for a friendly atmosphere.
